The Jänkälä Collection

Jänkälä is where softness meets strength. The delicate comes from 100-year-old vintage Japanese Silk flowers. The strong, from Vintage Rhodium metallic beads. Another layer of her serenity comes in the form of incredibly delicate ceramic beads from Japan from the 1970s. This marriage of the bold and the soft is an ode to my grandmother, and to all women that manage to be nurturing and tenacious in the face of hardship.
